In this inaugural post, I find it necessary to provide some background on what inspired the inception of this site. I will look at the importance of honesty in a sinful world.

“Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: But the LORD pondereth the hearts.” – Proverbs 21:2

To begin, let’s delve into my personal history. I was born in a small town in South Africa 59 years ago. I devoted my life to the Lord at the age of 11. It goes without saying that my journey has been fraught with numerous challenges and hardships. More about that on my biography page.

I’ve been reflecting on my Christian life for quite some time now. Some aspects are not in line with what is truly expected of me according to the word of God. The world has been subtly shaping us to conform to its ways for a long time. We do not always act in accordance with God’s word, without even realizing it. That is a good reason to look at the importance of honesty in a sinful world. These are the issues I aim to address in this blog.

I am by no means a perfect Christian and often fall short of the glory of God. I do not consider myself highly qualified in the scriptures or theology. This blog is an opportunity for me to delve deeper into the spiritual aspects of each topic, broadening my knowledge and understanding. I believe the Lord is guiding me on this path, not only to grow my own understanding of His word but ultimately for His glory. I pray that this journey will be of great benefit to you, the reader, and that you will partake in it in a positive and meaningful way.
